Anol Chatterjee stands among the most sought-after vocalists in the realm of Indian Classical Music today. A distinguished disciple of Guru Padmabhushan Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, he carries forward a rich musical lineage with depth, discipline, and individuality. His formative years were shaped under the guidance of eminent gurus including Sri Bishwanath Chowdhury, Late Sri Ajit Chakrabarty, Smt. Chandana Chakrabarty, and Sri Shantanu Bhattacharyya.

Over the years, Anol has graced some of the most prestigious concert platforms across India, including ITC SRA Sangeet Sammelan, Young Maestro Music Conference, Kesarbai Kerkar Sangeet Samaroh, Swar Mangesh Festival, Rajya Sangeet Academy Conference, Sangeet Natak Akademi Concerts, ICCR New Horizon Series, Komal Nishad Sangeet Sammelan, Dinrang Festival, Sadguru Sangeet Sammelan (Punjab), and the renowned Virasat Festival in Dehradun, among many others.

His music has transcended borders, taking him to audiences across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Scotland, South Africa, Germany, the Netherlands, and Bangladesh, where he has performed extensively in international concerts and festivals.

Beyond performance, Anol Chatterjee is a multifaceted artist—an accomplished lyricist, composer, music director, and producer. His work as the music director of the acclaimed docu-feature “Yogiraaj Syamacharan Lahiri” has received widespread appreciation. Equally adept in Light Classical, Bengali semi-classical, and devotional music, his creations have resonated widely, with several works achieving viral recognition across digital platforms.

He has also lent his voice as a playback singer in notable productions such as the Feluda web series “Royal Bengal Rahasya”, “Belur Math”, and others.

Anol’s official YouTube channel has emerged as a vibrant global hub for Indian classical music learners, with a dedicated following of nearly 70,000 subscribers. Through his innovative online workshops and classes, he continues to nurture and inspire students from over 20 countries, playing a significant role in disseminating Indian music on a global scale.

Currently, Anol Chatterjee serves as the Acting Principal of Shrutinandan, Kolkata—an internationally acclaimed institution for music education. His debut album “New Signature” was inaugurated by the legendary tabla maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain. Musical stalwarts such as Pandit Ravi Shankar and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan have expressed deep confidence in his artistic journey, while renowned playback singer Arijit Singh has praised his musical insight and expertise.
